Shootout Vs. Overtime

Ok folks I personally like the shootout because it means a faster end to the games
and the whole room is tense to see if they score or not. But in the playoffs there is
no shootout, soo the teams beat eachother up longer and then win. :)
the stars stanley cup game( a classic) went into 3 overtimes. the game lastnight went
into double overtime.

Whats your take?

I like shootouts too. That's the way we used to play in soccer, and I always liked it.
I watched that cup game. It went on forever. They could never score.
Overtime draws it out though, so its tense for longer.

the overtime tense is less than the shootout tense.
the shootout tense is that everybody has an equal shot at the goal.
in overtime you still have to work the ball, puck towards the net and deffend from the other team.

Also thanks for checking out the blog.

I think the shootout is awsome. Unless you play goalie, then it stinks.
